Cenote Xpambi Ha
The project Cenote Xpambi Ha, located in the Tulum jungle, is a unique example of how Cubox can integrate constructions into complex natural environments without negatively impacting the ecosystem. This 36 m² suite was assembled directly over a cenote, without damaging its natural structure, making it both a technical and environmental achievement. The project was completed in just 2 weeks, highlighting the speed and efficiency of Cubox's modular system.
One of the biggest challenges of the project was the foundation, as a traditional structure that would affect the cenote could not be used. Cubox proved to be the only viable solution for building on this type of terrain without invading the natural space. The design included a suite with a double terrace ,providing guests with an unparalleled experience in direct contact with nature.
To ensure resistance to extreme weather conditions, such as hurricanes and heavy tropical rains, specific technologies were implemented to guarantee the construction's stability. Additionally, the focus on sustainability was crucial: no gaps were opened, and no trees were destroyed to allow access for trucks or cranes. The entire assembly was carried out with minimal environmental impact, respecting the cenote and the Caribbean jungle to the fullest.
This project highlights Cubox's commitment to innovative, sustainable construction solutions that meet client needs without compromising nature.
